Qatar Airways Flight Attendants, Go-To Lip Colors

With flight attendants that could easily be mistaken for catalogue models, it’s likely for Qatar Airways passengers to find themselves fixated on their airborne hostesses—we know, because during a recent journey on the airline, we couldn’t stop staring! Whether embarking on a red-eye or the first flight out to your destination of choice, these beauties are perfectly preened with sleek updos, rosy cheeks, and bold, Bordeaux lips to match their wine-colored ensembles.

And with deep, vampy lip colors being a go-to trend for fall, we couldn’t depart the aircraft without finding out the exact shades that complete our travel muses’ uniforms. So, we stopped a pair of flight attendants in their tracks to share their go-to hues. Here’s what they had to say…

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Lipstick by Kate Moss in 01 ($6, at drugstores)

One attendant proudly whipped out this black bullet, which concealed the true red shade that popped against her porcelain complexion. Its long-lasting formula claims to last up to eight hours and after a 13-hour flight with this beauty, consider us witnesses of its mighty staying power.

Another attendant fished for her pink-red shade by Austrian brand, P2. The rich hue has a glossy finish perfect for anyone looking for a plumping effect.

The two shared that Qatar Airways does require the flight attendants to choose within a range of berry-toned lip colors. This allows for some flexibility in terms of selecting the undertones and finishes that are most flattering for their skin tones and personal preferences. And while these final picks might be slightly different shades, what the two lipsticks have in common is their long-lasting formulas. Because sometimes turbulence just doesn’t allow for frequent touch-ups!
